As the past President of Allied, Greg brings proven property management experience combined with core knowledge and vision. Greg is also a principal of Allied, assuming an ownership position in early 1999. His responsibilities include supporting Allied’s executive leadership team and assisting with overall company strategy. Having received his Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation in 1994, Greg has been involved in the analysis, management, construction, leasing, rehabilitation, and sale of residential and commercial property in the Puget Sound region for more than twenty five years and his diversified background and analytical management skills add to the company's success. Greg has served as President of IREM’s Washington chapter in 2016 and he holds a Washington Real Estate Broker license.

Mike has been active in the commercial and multifamily real estate industry for over thirty years, during which he has held various positions of development, leadership and ownership of third party management companies and working in markets throughout the Western US. Mike joined the Allied team in 2013 and as President he is responsible for all aspects of Allied Residential, including overall company performance and strategic direction. Mike is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), holds the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation from the National Apartment Association (NAA) and served as President and board member of the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA). He also maintains a Washington State Brokers license, is the designated broker for Allied Residential and is a graduate of the University of Washington.

With an impressive 30-year career in property management spanning Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, and Nevada, Matt Andrews is a seasoned expert at Allied Residential. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance, a Washington State real estate broker license, and C3P certification for LIHTC properties, Matt's skills are second to none.

Matt specializes in revitalizing underperforming assets, making them profitable investments. His diverse experience includes managing various multifamily properties and working with investors of all sizes. Matt also consults on development and oversees large rehabilitation projects, ensuring success from concept to completion.

His sharp eye for financial and physical due diligence in asset transactions, coupled with exceptional financial review and reporting skills, makes Matt an invaluable partner. As a Principal of Allied Residential, he plays a central role in the company's continued success. Matt Andrews is the go-to expert for transforming properties and maximizing returns.

Colleen Carr is a visionary leader whose 30 years of experience in real estate and affordable housing have shaped both her teams and the communities she serves. She began her journey in property management in 1995 and joined Allied Residential in 2009 as a Portfolio Manager. Just two years later, she was named a Principal Shareholder, where she continues to play a pivotal role in guiding the Affordable Housing Division.

Colleen has been instrumental in driving Allied Residential’s growth and impact, particularly within the affordable housing sector—her greatest passion. Under her leadership, the company has expanded significantly, navigating complex housing programs and funding structures with expertise and precision. Her deep knowledge spans conventional, affordable, senior, student, and commercial real estate, with specialized expertise in low-income housing tax credits, project-based Section 8, rural development, and compliance.

Beyond her operational excellence, Colleen is admired for her mentorship and unwavering commitment to her teams. She prioritizes employee development, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability. Her ability to inspire others, build strong relationships, and champion professional growth has made her a trusted mentor and role model across the organization.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Colleen received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Affordable Housing Management Association in 2024—a testament to her lasting impact on the industry. With strengths in resident relations, successful lease-ups, and community building, Colleen continues to leave an enduring mark on Allied Residential and the broader housing community.

Steve Hamasaki

Steve Hamasaki

With over three decades of experience in the property management industry, Steve has developed a comprehensive skill set, managing a diverse portfolio of approximately 15,000 apartment homes across Washington, Oregon, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Kansas, and Oklahoma. His experience spans conventional and subsidized housing, where he has worked with privately owned, institutional, and condominium portfolios, navigating the complexities of each.

Throughout his career, Steve has overseen numerous apartment rehabilitations, with projects exceeding $25 million in capital improvements, demonstrating his ability to lead substantial renovations and repositioning efforts. In addition, he has played a key role in the ground-up development of approximately 5,000 new construction units, consistently bringing projects from concept to completion with notable success.

Steve’s expertise lies in optimizing operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring high standards across his portfolio. His strategic leadership and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation as a trusted and results-oriented professional in the property management and real estate development sectors.

John Poulsen

John Poulsen has nearly 30 years of experience across various real estate disciplines, including finance, asset management, development, and operations. In his current role at Allied Residential, John’s primary responsibilities include corporate operations, risk management, and special projects, and he has an unmatched passion for empowering employees, promoting individual and company growth, and seizing opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiencies. John is tech-savvy and adept at developing financial models and performing analyses related to real estate development, repositioning, and asset preservation. He has extensive knowledge of affordable housing including LIHTC, HUD, and numerous state and local programs. When not in the office, John volunteers with organizations and schools in support of youth baseball and softball programs and enjoys spending time with his family.

Shannon Dustin

Shannon Dustin

Active in the multifamily industry since 1989, Shannon has held many roles including Executive Vice President, Regional Manager, as well as various on-site roles across five states. Shannon is well-versed in lease ups, stabilized management of both market rate and affordable assets and property repositioning, including major unit interior upgrades and the management of exterior capital improvements. Her oversight of Portfolio Managers focuses on maximizing operating performance, achieving revenue goals through calculated rent positioning, and adhering to strict internal cost control measures to minimize property expenses. Shannon’s strengths also include new business development, staff development and client relationships. Shannon holds the Managing Broker License in the State of Washington.

Bill Cook

Bill Cook brings over 30 years of high-level experience in property management, operations, and leadership to his role as Senior Vice President at Allied Residential. With a career that spans on-site community management to senior executive leadership, Bill has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, fostering employee development, and delivering results across diverse housing portfolios.

Most recently, Bill served as the Director of Housing Management for the Low Income Housing Institute. He was directly responsible for all multifamily operations at LIHI’s owned assets, which totaled more than 4,000 units. He was able to reverse the steadily declining financial situation LIHI experienced as a result of operating most LIHI properties in challenging jurisdictions like Seattle and Tacoma.

As Department Director and Senior Vice President at the King County Housing Authority (KCHA), Bill oversaw a portfolio of 3,838 units across 90+ properties with an annual budget of over $39 million. He spearheaded comprehensive employee training programs, led collective bargaining negotiations, and achieved national recognition for excellence in HUD REAC/NSPIRE physical inspections. His leadership enhanced financial performance, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Bill also brings experience in the private sector, having directed large-scale property acquisitions, repositioning, and renovations for both Thrive Communities and Holland Residential. His expertise in affordable housing management, compliance, and strategic planning complements LIHI's mission of providing sustainable and equitable housing solutions.

A dedicated advocate for professional development, Bill has also served on the boards and in executive positions of prominent housing associations, including the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), the Affordable Housing Management Association of Washington (AHMA), and the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA), where he played a pivotal role in the formation of the association as well as in associate education and industry advancement. His leadership, coupled with his deep commitment to housing equity, positions him as a transformative leader.

Bill enjoys the outdoors, including participating in activities like cycling, golf and boating. He is married to Kathie who is also in the multifamily industry on the vendor side and father to a 33-year-old son, Jonathan.

Jeremy Martin

Jeremy Martin

Jeremy has an extensive background in property management with experiences in both private owner and REIT management. His resume boasts not only a diverse showing of leadership but also a solid role call of some of the top mentors in the business. In 2004 Mr. Martin was selected to establish an American property management operation in Beijing, China where he oversaw operations of thousands of units and near 800 employees. Mr. Martin attended the University of Idaho with studies in business and design.

Lisa joined Allied Residential as a Portfolio Manager in September 2018. A well-developed professional, Lisa brings 20+ years of experience in the property management industry. She has displayed progressive growth in directing all aspects of new development, affordable housing, and overall property operations. Lisa has very valuable experience as she has worked with a wide diversity of asset types, such as luxurious communities,  conventional residential,  commercial real estate, and affordable housing. Lisa has supported a widespread client list that includes reputable Seattle-based Clients, Local Non-Profits, and Housing Authorities. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, she has shown tremendous operational budget savings, strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, and improved quality control at her assets. These skills have been recognized through multiple awards, including a two-time nominee at The For Rent Awards and granted Manager of the Year in 2003 and 2009. Most recently, in 2023,  she accepted The AHMA Management Company Staff Person of the Year. Her unique combination of grit and humor adds to her unwavering passion and strength to problem-solve and find solutions that work. Lisa received her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification in 2010 and has held her WA State Broker License since 2009. In her free time, Lisa participates in recreational organizations and enjoys being an active member of other recognized Membership Committees.

Ms. Caldwell began her career in Affordable Housing Property Management in 2002 and has gained a wide range of experience. She joined the industry as an on-site manager in rural Washington overseeing a Rural Development (RD) property and advancing into additional roles with increasing responsibilities. Throughout her career she has added positions to her experience including training, compliance specialist, and portfolio management. Her strengths include project planning and execution, LIHTC compliance, and leadership. Ms. Caldwell has earned industry designations including COS for HUD Occupancy as well as C3P and SHCM for Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) management and compliance. She was awarded Site Manager of the Year in 2006 and Management Company Staff Person of the Year in 2009 by the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing.

Jane Bowling, Allied’s Vice President of Operations, is a seasoned real estate professional who found her niche in operational improvements and efficiencies. Using her vast property management experience and subsequent impatience with cumbersome processes, Jane finds solutions to unbury site teams to help them focus on ownership goals, customer services and revenue generation.

Jane honed her considerable skill set through a variety of leasing agent, property manager, regional manager, asset manager, trainer, and executive roles she’d held throughout the years. Her experience is in all aspects of property management: Single family, affordable and conventional multi-family, and privatized military housing.

Jane also has substantial experience in employee training and development, knowing that happy, well-trained employees create satisfied customers. Jane is well-versed in asset acquisition and disposition, resident relations, contract negotiations, investor relations, and capital improvement projects. She also comfortably navigates and supports the associated technology platforms in the property management world.

Originally from Arizona, Jane is an enthusiastically slow runner, an unconvincing vegetarian cook, a persistently poor piano player, an avid reader of too many books at once, and a silent corrector of texts and emails. Her primary residence is now coastal Washington where she shares a home with a spider or two, her husband, and two ill-behaved but impossibly cute rescue dogs.

Tia has been with Allied Residential since 2021 and brings over 8 years of property management experience, including vendor-side expertise. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University. In 2024, Tia was honored as the Management Company Staff Person of the Year by AHMA. With extensive expertise in office management, she plays a crucial role in coordinating events, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.

Ashlee Bell

Ashlee joined Allied Residential in 2015, as the manager of first impressions. Prior to her position with Allied she has held a variety of customer experience roles and positions over the span of 10+ years. After displaying superior customer service to residents, team members, clients, and her operations leaders she was quickly promoted to an administrative position. Her ability to adapt quickly, anticipate needs, create processes, and being extremely thorough led her to her current position of being the Quality Control Auditor. As Quality Control Auditor Ashlee is dedicated to making sure proper control and risk mitigation practices are in place while continuing to be a dedicated resource and support to all team members. She is also the proud recipient of Allied's Allstar Award in 2017. Ashlee holds degrees in Psychology and History, as well as a Master's in Counseling Psychology. In her free time Ashlee is dedicated to her family and enjoys being the 'Auntie of Fun' to her nieces and nephews.

Jedd McDaniel

Jedd offers an extensive knowledge, skill set and unique approach to the commercial and multifamily real estate industry. For over 20 years he has specialized in providing excellent customer/client relations and team building. He believes that knowledge, communication, and a positive outlook are the keys to success.

As Director of Maintenance/Electrical Administrator/Safety Director, Jedd improves Allied's operations through maintenance and safety trainings, best overall practices and support for site personnel.

Jedd is an Electrical Administrator and has maintained his 07B Electrical License since 2002. He holds certifications in OSHA 511 Safety and Health Standards, is an OSHA 501 General Industry Trainer, and is a Certified Pool/Spa Operator with training in First Aid and CPR.

Jedd is an EPA Certified Type 1/Type 2 Technician for HVACR as well as a Community Emergency Response Team Member with FEMA.

Jedd has been awarded "Maintenance Supervisor of the Year" from For Rent Magazine in 2005 and 2008, was recognized as a finalist in 2015 and 2016, and "Regional Maintenance Director of the Year" from WMFHA in 2022.

In his free time, he enjoys horror movies, music, and football.

Marie Myers

Marie joined Allied in May 2012 as a Manger of First Impressions. Prior to joining Allied she held various management and customer focused positions within organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest over the span of 7 years. In her current role at Allied, Marie is the Office Manager overseeing a wide variety of critical managerial and organizational roles necessary to the success of the Allied Corporate team. As a proven leader, she is responsible for managing 5 property administrators who’s core focus is the success and reporting of property performance to a diversified clientele. In addition, Marie has played an impactful role in managing all company events as well as vendor partner relations. Marie has proven to be extremely agile in her ability to work alongside many different departments and offer exceptional support, which led her to earning Corporate Employee of the year in 2012. In her free time Marie enjoys snowmobiling, spending time with family and friends, and being a fur-momma to her 9 year old mastiff. Marie holds a Bachelors in Social Science from Washington State University - Go Cougs!

John Dunahoe

John Dunahoe

With over 20 years in the construction field, John brings a variety of experience and knowledge to Allied Residential. His primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of both people and property by preventing hazards associated with all phases of construction and maintenance-especially as it pertains to electrical systems. John's other responsibilities include the coordination of training programs for site maintenance staff and ensuring that all Allied maintenance staff are supplied with the proper procedures, techniques, and information necessary to meet OSHA, WISHA, and other regulatory standards. Having earned a teaching certificate issued by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, John is authorized to develop Labor and Industries-certified electrical courses which are personalized to Allied Residential's personnel and properties. These customized courses provide industry-focused training to Allied's maintenance staff at significantly reduced costs to Allied's clients. John holds both an O7 Electrical License and the O7 Administrator License.

Matt Chestnut is a multifamily real estate executive with more than 15 years of experience in asset management, portfolio strategy, and operations across the Pacific Northwest and Western United States. He has worked with institutional investors, private owners, and family offices to drive portfolio performance, execute capital improvements, and maximize long-term asset value.

Throughout his career, Matt has held leadership roles with firms including Davis Investors & Management, Security Properties Residential, Windsor Communities, Holland Partner Group, and MIG Real Estate, overseeing multifamily portfolios, new developments, and lease-up communities.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of Washington, along with a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate, and holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation.

Alia brings nearly 20 years of experience within Property Management. Starting her career in Rockville, MD. She instantly knew Real Estate is her passion. Specializing in Conventional Residential Properties. Alia Joined Allied Residential in 2015, as an Assistant Property Manager, and with proven success within her role, and increasing responsibilities she became a Community Manager and shortly advanced to Assistant Portfolio Manager. Providing exceptional customer service to residents, clients and all-around support, leadership, mentorship and a winning spirit to her team. Alia holds her Washington Real Estate Brokers License since 2007 and Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) designation since 2018. Alia has served two years in a row on the Executive Committee with IREM 2019 & 2020 and has successfully completed the first 2019 Leadership Lyceum with Washington Multi-Family Housing Association. Alia has achieved the 2017 All Star Award and 2019 Emerald Award Nominee. Alia enjoys family, live music traveling and sports.

Jenny Richards

Jenny Richards

Jenny Richards has been with Allied Residential since November of 2020. Jenny brings over 25 years of experience with mainly conventional properties; however, some affordable asset programs.

Jenny began in the property management industry in 1995 and has served in all on-site positions and executive leadership roles including Senior Community Manager, District Manager and Regional Portfolio Manager.

During her time in the Regional Manager role, she has successfully transitioned 13 communities consisting of 3,125 apartment homes. In addition, has managed the interior renovation process of 2,087 apartment homes and completed repositioning of six communities. She holds experience in managing lease-ups, high-rise, mid-rise, garden-style, and townhome communities ranging from severely stressed to high-end luxury.

Jenny maintains a Washington real estate broker’s license and completed an extensive 2-year Leadership Development Track Course. Also, she was an Emerald Award finalist for Regional Manager of the Year and has been presented with a National Platinum Achievement award two times during her career.

She is passionate about delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers through proof over promise and has built high caliber teams through extensive training and mentorship, which has resulted in lower associate turnover.

Julie Ryan

Julie Ryan

Julie Ryan’s career in Property Management spans over 20 years. She worked for Allied Residential from 2006 until 2015 as a Community Manager, first at conventional properties and later at a HUD community. It was this assignment where Julie found her passion, for Affordable Housing. When the property sold, Julie assumed a new role as a Regional Manager with Cambridge Management working with a large portfolio of Tax Credit Multi Family Housing. In 2017, Mrs. Ryan returned to work for Allied Residential supporting Mathew Andrews on his portfolio, which includes Affordable and conventional Communities.

Julie has oversight experience on properties ranging from conventional, commercial and affordable housing. Her experience includes brand new lease ups, renovations, multi-layered funded Housing and retail Management. Julie’s strengths include team leadership, staff support, navigating client relationships, corporate and site needs for the best outcome. Julie has a broad understanding for the complex intricacy of layered funding and a firm understanding of the importance of Property Management 101 which includes but is not limited to rent collections, occupancy, budget management and lease management.

Julie is engaged in the pursuit of continuing training and education to stay apprised to ever evolving property management changes and law in fair housing. Julie holds a Washington Real Estate License and Occupancy Specialist Certification.

Tina Boone

Tina has had a career in multifamily real estate for 20+ years. She began her property management career in Texas as a leasing agent and worked in various administrative positions before moving to Washington, where she advanced in her career working in Seattle based firms. Most recently overseeing the operations of 13,000+ units across Washington. Through her career, Tina has learned to cultivate teams and deliver lucrative financial returns that transitioned assets into award winning communities. She has both fee and owner operated experience and a diverse background in property management that encompasses lease-up, renovated, and stabilized properties. Tina is an active member of the Washington State Multi-Family Housing Association and holds designations of Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and a Washington Real Estate Brokers License.

Grant Burton, CPM

Grant has been with Allied since January 2016 initially working as a community manager for multiple conventional and affordable properties throughout King County. His track record of maximizing property NOI, extensive on-site operational experience, and passion for industry education helped prepare him for a leadership role with Allied. He currently oversees a portfolio of conventional and mixed-use properties throughout the city of Seattle. Grant is an active member of IREM where he holds CPM® and ARM® designations. In 2017, he was internationally recognized as one of IREM’s 30 Under 30 and will serve as the 2025 President of IREM Western Washington.

In 2022, Grant received his Washington Brokers License and proudly serves as the Portfolio Manager here at Allied Residential. He is a graduate of Weber State University in Ogden, UT with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Kiril has been with Allied since April 2014 initially working as a community manager at Allied’s most prestigious and well known properties, Village at Overlake Station. Prior to coming to Allied, Kiril spent several years managing both conventional and affordable properties throughout King County. His track record of maximizing property NOI, extensive on-site operational experience, and passion for industry education helped prepare him for a leadership role with Allied. He currently oversees a portfolio of affordable properties throughout the Puget Sound Area. Kiril has been active in both IREM and AHMA, with his ARM® and C3P designations.
